If you were to manually track your keywords you would need to spend a lot of time entering queries manually into iTunes. This not only takes a lot of time, but can also be totally inaccurate. iTunes search results can often be quite different to the results on devices and your device is usually locked on to a particular country’s app store.
This means that if you want to track results in the US and your device showed up results from the Australian App Store you wouldn’t get a true reflection of your US search rankings.
